ADD - Inattentive

ADHD      Adult ADD

Books

Whilst girls are more likely to be diagnosed with ADD if they have features of hyperactivity (the 'tomboy', the 'chatterbox', the 'fidget'), those who aren't 'hyperactive' will go un-noticed and ignored.  This does not exculsively affect girls, but some boys too.   These are the children who still go undiagnosed, even in today's enlightened time.  These comments may have been said about them:

'I wish I had a classful of children like her/him'

quiet

under-assertive

chatty

overly polite
