I lived in St Martin's
on Fort Road as a child, just after WW II. I consider Guernsey
my home and someday I hope to return. In the meantime
your lovely photographs have helped to remind me of the
beauty and peacefulness of the Bailiwick

I was inspired by a Guernsey native, to learn more about her and
her world.
After an evening of searching sites about Guernsey, I
have a better understanding of my late fathers love of
the Channel Islands.

Looking at these pictures brings back memories of
many happy visits I've had to Guernsey to see where
some of my ancestors came from {mostly} St. Martins.
