The 2
bikes are used entirely at your own risk.
I purchased them for my own use, but I don't mind guests using them as long as
they look after them.
There are two bicycles kept in the garage.
One is a ladies city bike - a modern imitation of a traditional bike, complete
with imitation wicker (plastic) basket. It has plenty of gears for the
local hills!
The second bike is a Gitane mini folding bike
with 3 speed hub gears. If you fold it, please follow the instructions
carefully, and ensure you leave it correctly unfolded and ready for use by the
next person.
Safety
The
bikes are used entirely at your own risk.
Helmets and other safety equipment are not
provided. Padlocks and a bike pump are available. Please use the
bikes responsibly, and check them before use: tyres, brakes, steering,
folding mechanism etc.
Follow the folding instructions carefully.
Ensure you leave the folding instructions on the bike when you leave.
If you have any doubt - please leave a prominent note on the table to let us
know, and a secure caution note on the bike to advise the next guests.
If you have any doubt about the safety and
security of the bike/s, do not use and let us know as soon as possible.
Please mend any punctures or other damage.
There is a helpful bike shop (only French speaking) on the Station road in
Paimpol, near the roundabout (past Intermarche) on the right hand side.
