The gite takes its name, La Pierre Longue, from the menhir which is situated across the road and is believed to be the key stone which leads to Carnac.
The living accommodation is all on the ground floor, as is the custom in longeres, the upstairs having been the grain storage for the farm.
Bed linen and tea towels are provided free of charge, electricity also. A complimentary basket of wood for the wood burner is also provided, with further supplies at 2 Euros per basket.
