Our property is located minutes away from the village of Rochefort-en-Terre. It is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of Brittany, from the Broceliande countryside to the sandy beaches of the Golfe du Morbihan.
The gite, which is an old farmhouse (or longere) is situated in the country with open fields to one side and forests to the other. A stream forms the northern boundary of the property, which is very large, with fruit trees, nut trees and many others.
Accommodation, for up to eight persons, comprises of two large bedrooms, each containing one double and one single bed. A further two guests can make use of the double bed in the ‘playstation’ room; bathroom with wash hand basin and shower over bath; separate W.C; large living room and kitchen combined; electric heating throughout and a wood burner in the living room.
A grocery pack for your arrival can be provided on request. In addition, my husband Alan, an excellent French chef de cuisine, will be happy to prepare meals which can be eaten in the gite or, if preferred, en famille at our house next door. Requests for this service 24 hours in advance would be appreciated. Vegetarians can be easily catered for.
We are open all year round and although we prefer to take weekly bookings commencing on Saturdays, it may be possible at times to book mid-week. Prices range from £200 to £500 per week, depending on the season.
