Camping QuinQuis at Le Pouldu in Southern Brittany France is a medium
sized British owned family campsite set in 20 acres of beautifully landscaped
woodland, situated just 2 km from charming Le Pouldu.
With its pristine sandy south facing beaches, secluded coves and
crystal clear sea you will be able to enjoy sailing, surfing, jet skiing
and fishing trips they are all available here.
The little picturesque port of Le Pouldu, facing the very popular beaches
of Guidel is just the spot to sit and enjoy a relaxing drink in the warm
sun.
Walks along the scenic cliff paths to other villages are magnificent with
stunning views. A truly delightful rural and coastal area whos matchless
scenery changes with the seasons.
The campsite offers a good size heated swimming pool
with a separate childrens pool, a cosy and intimate bar and patio
area overlooking the swimming pool.
A takeaway food service is available in high season and small shop for
essentials (a supermarket is only 10 minutes drive away). A football
pitch, table tennis and boules pitch, plus the facility of a childrens
morning (activity) club and are all on site.
Horse riding stables are just 500 meters away. Tennis courts can be found
adjacent to the beaches. During the high season a very popular children's
club is held and there is also evening entertainment.
The area has much to offer the visitor, hidden country lanes where walkers
have a wonderful range of footpaths, where specially created circuits
wander throughout the area, including smugglers tracks, forest paths as
well as the breathtaking cliff path walks. For the serious and the leisurely
cyclists this is paradise!.
There are many architectural places of interest which include ancient
churches, megaliths, chateaux or manor houses. Visit the ancient town
of Quimper, the capital of Cornouaille, (the Cornwall of Brittany) which
is always ablaze with floral decorations.
Vannes is renowned for its architectural splendour. Pont Aven, a
delightful quaint village that was home to several renowned artists including
Gauguin, where you can browse through the modern day artists studios.
Folklorique Dance Festivals are held during the Summer months throughout
Brittany.
Concarneau, one of the largest fishing ports in Brittany. A visit to its
fortified town is a must, teeming with small shops, bars and restaurants.
The tiny picturesque fishing village of Doëlan just a short drive
away, where you can buy seafood from the fishermen as they return with
their catch.
Watch the salmon climb the ladder to get to the upper reaches
of the river Scorff.
Lorient for its maritime history and the marvellous shopping
and celtic festival in the first two weeks of August.

For those wishing to venture out on a short sea trip there is the Ile
de Groix with its wonderful quiet beaches or cycle and explore this
quiet haven.
Take a leisurely cruise or canoe up the river Läita and enjoy the
superb scenery and wildlife on the banks.
Golfers are catered for with two 18 hole courses within a short drive.
There are so many other tourist attractions to offer to all the family
and it would be difficult to fit them all in one holiday to this beautiful
area.
Restaurants and creperies abound in this area offering regional dishes
and of course the superb Fruit de Mer.
Think of Springtime with the colourful hedgerows, the trees laden with
blossom.
Enjoy the summer with the hub bub of fellow holidaymakers, the heat of
the summer sunshine on the beaches and return to home for the BBQ meal
and quiet drink in the evening.
