Countdown to his next birthday – warning, very very depressing…

Marry him online – this website is…words fail me, really…

The fanlistings – the one and only is here. Not much to say. It’s just a fanlisting.

The livejournal communities: for him in general, for daily(ish) pictures, for iconry (though this site looks a bit dead to me)

Fan sites

Highly recommended:

Unofficialy Official site – this is pretty much as good as it gets. It’s got the soundclips, the trivia and stuff on upcoming movies. The interviews are really worth a read. (R+G came out in 1990, so articles around then will be most handy)

The yahoo group – too timid to join myself, but it’s certainly worth joining! You might also like a nose around his yahoo picture group, though there’s not much there - most notable for the music files from Legend of 1900, and having lots of screencaps from four films which aren’t R+GaD.

This page is a must for fans of the Legend of 1900 (or, for that matter, Ennio Morricone), especially for anyone who fancies a go at the piano pieces, many of which can be downloaded here

These are pretty good too:

The Rocking Rothie page – it’s not up to date, but worth it for the trivia section (did you know/care that he has twice played characters called Nick?)

Dull for the average “crushy fan” looking for pics and quotery but very, very worthy; this page was set up in response to Tim Roth’s fun and oh so cheery War Zone film. It provides a massive list of links and resources, including emergency hotlines, for victims of various sorts of abuse all over the world.

The European fan page – nice interview soundclips, nice whack of interviews, and a lot of love for Legend of 1900.

One very big gallery of him at events (Cannes, premieres etc)

Not much, but there’ll be something for someone here:

MSN fan site – this has mostly fallen into disarray, but dashing through the gallery turns up a heap of nice pics.

And, er…

Turns out a large proportion of Tim Roth’s fanbase doesn’t speak English. How unfair and inconsiderate of them says the webmistress who hasn't, like, contemplated translating this site to accomodate anyone else :). I’ve trawled through to see how much I can pick up on, but alas my knowledge of foreign language unhelpfully only extends to Quenya and Latin…and I’m pretty sure he has no fanbase at all among the Romans and Elves.

Useful:

Site -actually, I believe this is Chinese. Eeek, I’m about to offend shedloads of people here. Luckily, smidgens of this is in a language I understand – the quotes page is worth a read, because he always seems to speak sense. There’s also a kinda large gallery section. Today’s favourite quote (and possibly apt as well considering he’s one of mine): “You can meet an idol and discover that he is an asshole in real life.”

A Japanese site – while this is mostly info (and therefore unreadable for poor me) you can download a Tim Roth PC clock. Who comes up with these things?! Anyway, it’s very sweet…

Only useful if you know the language:

This site is probably fascinating. Alas, it’s in Japanese, so all I can say is that it’s mostly info – a biography, filmography, and apparently no photo gallery. Apparently, because I really cannot tell…

more Japanese fun. From looking at the dates, this seems very up to date, but it’s not worth much when I can’t actually read the text…

I’ve got to praise this site, merely because the design’s so nice and the info seems so comprehensive. There’s little there, however, if you can’t read the words (which, if I had to hazard a guess, I reckon’s Polish)

Tiny gallery, and as it doesn’t prompt me computer to download a font, I’ve no idea what language it’s actually in…
