Bob enjoys walking, meditation, photography, vegetarian cooking (and eating) and of course exploring islands.

Bob was founder of the Guernsey Vegetarian Group and also founded Sark Island Learning, an initiative to provide Adult Education for the people of Sark.

Having originally visited Jersey and Sark back in 1968, Bob then wanted to make his home in these islands but that is not so easy. In 1999 Bob moved to Guernsey to manage the IT Skills Development area at Guernsey College of Further Education.

Bob has a beautiful baby, Amber Rose, back in England and hopes she will grow up appreciating the islands - if only as a place for happy, 'Famous Five' style holidays.

In July 2003 Bob moved to Sark but still commuted to Guernsey for work, then in 2005 he was in the process of moving back to England but that didn't happen as planned so here he is, again resident on the ruggedly beautiful island of Sark.

But such a beautiful place is meant for sharing!!! So what happens next... well come back here soon and find out...
