The Summer Fête
was opened by Andrew Gidney who also brought his wife, Lisa, and their baby
daughter,Ella to enjoy the fun. He judged the Bonny Baby Competitions.

The Rector, Fr
Kevin Northover enjoyed the crowds;
| |
| |
as did
our organist David Strong. |

| |
The
crowd was watching the dogs from the Guernsey Dog Club in their
demonstration in the arena - this was one. |
| |
| |
The team in the
tea tent provided ploughman's lunches for all the helpers and tea and cakes
and Guernsey gâche for everyone.
| |
| |
As usual the
Mothers' Union had a magnificent stall and raffle and did even better than
last year - a good way to celebrate Barbara Piprell's last year as Chairman.

| |
For the first
time John David took over the Bookstall from Peter Derham. They had a proper
tent for the first time and there is no doubt this meant that it couldn't
rain.
