On Thursday, July 12th 2001 Her Majesty the Queen visited the Vale Parish to unveil a new standing stone and the Rector, Rev’d. Kevin Northover was introduced to her by John Bougourd, Dean of the Douzaine. A special Eucharist for HM The Queen was held in the evening.
