The pleasure and benefits of membership can soon outweigh the
cost
Membership of the Friends of St James brings you regular
concerts and events covering a broad range of tastes. The cost of an annual
subscription can soon be recouped by the special discounts available on
those events promoted and organised by the Friends. There is also the
opportunity to come along to informal evenings held during the year for
members only.
Membership brings you advance notice of events and early
booking privileges
When you become a member you will automatically receive the
two months' Diary of Events, published
six times a year. The Diary tells you, well in advance, what's on at St
James and the essential details of each event. Membership also gives you a
one week advance booking advantage over non-members, so you can have the
best pick of the best seats. Bookings
can be made in person, by telephone, post or e-mail.
Membership brings enjoyment and involvement
Membership offers the opportunity to become
involved
in the organisation of Friends events, members evenings, fund
raising and membership matters. A bi-monthly
Newsletter is sent to all members. Help is needed on a number of fronts
and many Friends are actively involved in the running of St James by
volunteering to staff events, host artists or assist with mailshots and
deliveries.
