| What is Learning Disability?
|
There is no simple
way of defining learning disabilities. It is a term that is used to
describe a range of difficulties. People who are said to have a learning
disability have an intellectual impairment, which will have happened
before they were 18 years old. People with a learning disability also have
problems in adapting to everyday life. Some people experience an event,
which makes them less able to learn things. Because of this, they need
help to understand and to cope with many things that most of us take for
