Yan Milner

Yan is the President of the Sarnia Sword Club. He started fencing in Guernsey in 1974. His fencing career continued whilst at Polytechnic where he fenced for both Keele University and North Staffordshire Polytechnic, and was part of the winning foil team in the Polytechnic fencing championships. On returning to Guernsey in the early 80's Yan has fenced with and for The Sarnia Sword Club but now tends to concentrate more on refereeing and coaching. Though he still reckons he can give many of the youngsters a run for their money on the piste.
