The Club meet on the first Sunday of every month at Vazon Bay at 10.30 a.m. This is so new and old members can get together, and share an interest in each others cars or ongoing projects. This is also an opportunity for anyone wishing to come along to see if they wish to join, and basically to check us out.
There is an initial £ 10 joining fee, for which you receive a membership pack which
includes a GMOC round window sticker, GMOC key ring and a Mini long rear Window GMOC sticker, this identifies your
Mini as a Club member. You also get a membership card which enables you to obtain discounts at various outlets, for parts, petrol, Condor,
etc. On your second year there is a
£ 5 rejoining fee. If you wish to advertise anything you wish to sell, or pass on some useful information you may have come across, you may even wish to tell others about a rebuild or project you may have done or be in the process of
doing, you can do so by sending it to Gesy Buckingham. (address below)
We hold various events throughout the year, which include Social nights,
Skittles, Bowling, BBQ's, Liberation Annual run & our Annual Christmas fancy dress car
competition - which has its own
Club shield to win. Our event which is fast becoming our biggest of
the year, is our Annual Mini Show which is attracting more and more overseas
Mini's every year.
There is no age limit on being a member, as our existing members range from seventeen to sixty five.
It doesn't matter if you car is old, new, classic, as long as its your pride and joy you are Welcome.
