How do I know when I have exceeded my free time?

A - We have two ways for you to monitor your usage. Firstly, email notification. As a default, you will receive a weekly report displaying your total time online for that month’s period. Each subsequent email during that month will include the month’s total to date.

Secondly, real-time check. You will also be able to log in to our website and view your latest month’s total up until your last log out.

What is the maximum I can be billed in a single month while using this service, after I have paid the standard connection charge?

£34.99. You will never pay any more - no matter how much you use this service.
 

Why is this service supplied with a modem?

We supply this service with a modem as it is the best way to connect to this metered service, as a modem requires you to physically click a connection icon on your computers desktop to connect. If you are considering connecting using a router, which allows you to stay permanently connected all the time, then we recommend that you consider our Broadband Anytime service. This is an unmetered service with a fixed monthly rental of £26.99.
 

Can I downgrade to this service from Broadband Select or Broadband Home?

Yes you can but you will need to bear in mind that this service is metered so you will have to start monitoring your usage like you did when you used dial-up. This means you will need to connect and disconnect whenever you use the Internet and you will lose the convenience that you experience with your current service. You will also need to have had your current Broadband contract for at least 12-months and you will need to pay the £49.99 connection charge to activate this new service.
 

If I do not use my inclusive minutes can I carry them over to the next month.

No, you will need to use up your free month's minutes during that month period.
